WebI had this exact problem with my Daniel Defense DDM4V1. Use a credit card or something very thin and rigid to push forward on the trigger portion that needs to be closed/pushed forward then close the upper portion. Once you get it almost down, slide the card out and it will all lock up. Hopefully that works for you.
