There was nothing wrong with Bitwig, a unique music-making platform but some design choices I couldn't get around with (just my hard personality - the app is amazing). WebOct 27, 2024 · Bitwig is still a great DAW, but it inspires me less. I also believe the effects in Ableton Live (especially Compressor and EQ8) are better, but I'm not a pro so, it just seems like that for me. So, in Bitwig I tend to use 3rd party effects, but in Live, I feel the built in effects are great and I don't need 3rd party effects. WebTry the demo, see how quickly you can make a track. The piano roll is not better than Ableton imo, but it is different. The modulation is much more usable than I experienced with Live, although I haven't worked extensively in 11 to see if maybe this has been fixed. In Bitwig they generally just work.
